Welcome to the savanna, a mixed woodland-grassland ecosystem characterized by trees that are sufficiently widely spaced so that the canopy does not close, allowing enough sunlight to reach the ground to support an unbroken herbaceous layer primarily composed of grasses. Here, we live - the majestic giraffes.
